What ports does Vesper Express service for drayage?
Our home ports are Long Beach and Los Angeles. We run these daily and know the terminals, chassis pools, and how to get a container out on time. We can service all California seaports. Reach out with your specific port and we'll work with you.
What is included in your drayage service?
Our drayage service covers the full container move from port to your warehouse or DC. That includes chassis sourcing, pre-pulls to avoid demurrage, yard storage when your facility is at capacity, and all terminal appointment coordination. We also help fight demurrage and per diem charges when they come up. We coordinate directly with the carrier so you're not chasing anyone down.
Does Vesper Express handle chassis and terminal appointments?
We coordinate with our carriers, who handle chassis and terminal appointments on a daily basis at Long Beach and Los Angeles. Chassis shortages, terminal windows, and demurrage deadlines are things our carrier network deals with every single day. Not problems we read about.
How fast can I get a freight quote?
Same day. Send us the lane and we'll get back to you within the business day. Lanes we already run regularly turn around even faster.
Is there a minimum load size or shipment requirement?
No minimums. We work with shippers of all sizes.
Do you offer LTL (less-than-truckload) service?
Yes. In addition to full truckload, we handle LTL. Send us the shipment details and we'll find the right option for your freight.
What FTL lanes does Vesper Express run most?
Our strongest lanes are SoCal to Las Vegas and SoCal to Northern California. We can move 53-foot dry van freight across all 50 states.
Do you offer lift gate delivery?
Yes, we offer lift gate delivery for shipments that require it.
Do you use team drivers for time-sensitive freight?
Yes. For shipments where a single driver's hours aren't enough, we can arrange team drivers to keep the freight moving.
Does Vesper Express service Canada or Mexico?
We are domestic only at this time. We move freight across all 50 states.
